My friends all know just how picky I am about the food I eat, especially when it comes to sweets. It can’t be made with any refined sugar, I won’t eat it too late in the evening and I try to choose more healthful toppings instead of anything artificial.

Some might say that I’m depriving myself of all the things that are fun about eating dessert. I simply respond by saying that they must have not yet sampled the delectable organic frozen yogurt from Sno:la. With a rotating array of six seasonal flavors and forty toppings, Sno:la (pronounced snow-la) yogurt is made with organic non-fat dairy and flavored with fresh local ingredients including fruit juices and fruit purees. Some of this season’s flavors include Sour Cherry, Dulce de Leche, and Mango, while winter options may include Fig-Date and Pumpkin.

Aside from the yummy yogurt, Sno:la offers a completely eco-friendly environment with biodegradable spoons made from wood and potatoes to compost-able containers and countertops made from recycled computer chips.

If I’m going to indulge in dessert, it may as well be good for me…and the environment.
