Funny how the term ìgirly girlî has become so commonly used when describing someone. What does it mean anyway? Websterís hasnít caught on yet, but it is basically the phrase used for a girl who loves beauty, luxury and style (with just a splash of pink, of course).
Manicures, her lavender scented eye pillow and shopping along Avenue Montaigne in Paris are all things she canít live without. Unfortunately the 12 hour plane ride is not always convenient so Alison and Gail Rubke, the ultimate ìgirly girlsî have decided to create an intimate environment where every girl can go to feel like her true self. Faire Frou Frou, meaning ìShow it offî is a new, exquisite intimate apparel boutique that will have its official grand opening tomorrow, February 10th in Studio City. Decorated with pink walls and gorgeous antique furniture, the boutique carries exclusive collections such as Eres, Emanuel Ungaro, and Fifi Chachnil as well as their own line of comfy sweats, tanks, and panties.
Some of the pieces are so beautiful, why waste it under an article of clothing when you really should show it off? The selection of designer corsets, bustiers and lingerie-inspired clothing are all meant to be worn as an added touch of feminine flair. By the way, if you decide you want to create your own version of the French boudoir, you are also more than welcome to purchase the furniture, chandeliers or any other item in the store that you see.
