There’s nothing granola about me. I don’t do yoga, I never skip a weekly mani/pedi, and the only reason I shop at Whole Foods is because I feel hip paying twice as much for farm-raised salmon.

Needless to say, hearing words like “organic” and “all-natural” doesn’t elicit the most favorable of reactions. So you can imagine my surprise when I stumbled upon Byu-ti (pronounced “beauty”) Essentials, a line of botanical haircare products that are not only pure, but deliver superior results.

An extension of their “give goodness” motto, sister-team Natasha Sunshine and Daniela Bycoffe created the line to spread their “purity first” mission; a mission that began with the opening of their Santa Monica-based salon, Byu-ti, back in 2003.

The line consists of nourishing Cleansers, a two-step Conditioner and Blender treatment, Essentials (micro-botanical oil drops designed for deep healing), and vitamins designed for optimal hair health. The line also offers custom-blended reparative treatments for tresses in need of some major TLC.

Maybe I’m a bit more down-to-earth than I thought.
